I’m here too writing about how boys are treated differently from girls. People have there own opinions on the way boys are treated differently from girls. I think that boys are being treated differently because girls get awards for the good things they do. Girls are also trusted more which is another reason that boys get punished more than girls or get it worse. So there are the three reasons why I think boys are being treated differently than girls.

To begin with girls get awarded for the things they do. When girls do something like get an answer write in school or like they win a game or something, they get a prize either from the teacher and if it’s a sport maybe from the coach. But when a boy does something like that, the teacher or coach will just say good job. Another example is that there was a girl who got an answer right and the teacher gave her a piece of candy and told her good job, but when the boy got it right the teacher just said good job and that’s not fair.

Second, girls are trusted more than boys. When I walk through the hall ways at my school, the teachers always ask me where is my pass and then I would show it to them but when a girl walks by, the teacher says hi or something. Also if I was in my classroom and the teacher was going to choose between a girl or a boy to take something to the front office the teacher will more likely choose the girl.

Third, boys get punished more than girls or they get it worse. There so many examples how or why boys get punished more than girls or get it worse. Well the first example is that if a girl threw a piece of paper in the class and the teacher saw it, the teacher would probably tell them to pick it up and give them a warning. If I threw a piece of paper in the class, the teacher would pull out a referral and start writing what I did down, and they will probably send me out of the class.

In conclusion boys are treated differently than girls because they get rewards for the good things they do, they are trusted more, and boys get punished more than girls. So I think that girls and boys should be treated in the same way.
