Violence is everywhere; it has taken over the U. S. and other countries for example the shooting at Virginia Tech.

Violence is everywhere: in our music, in our video games, and TV shows, but the worst is in our schools. Violence, to me, is at an all time high .I think one of the reasons of this is the media It is full of death and violence all the time. Rappers sing about guns and weapons all the time, take 50cent for example or Eminem. Our video games are just another outlet to violence, like Grand Theft Auto is an example of pure violence in our games.

Columbine is a perfect example of teen violence. Students open up with guns freely on there fellow classmates , thought bombs, and rounding and rounding people like cattle, and shouting at them .This has to stop and there needs to be some changes in our society when it comes to violence being portrayed on virtually all of our products teens buy.

The way you think should change society so how about a gun and violence awareness day for all schools. Also I think you have to have a background check in order to purchase a gun or deadly weapon. You can not have a criminal record, and you must also be at least 21 or older to purchase a gun. Some states should have weapons restricted and any weapon found with in a mile from a school should be collected. The only reason that people sell these weapons that promote violence is because the more they sell the more they make money wise. We need to stop it.

I hope you have listened to me and learned because you are the people that can stand to and fight it and stop violence all over the world. I know first hand about this because my friend was stabbed and dead on the spot as a result of teen violence. I want things to stop and change.
